About Gaye

Welcome to my website! This is my first attempt to display my jewelry on the web and I hope you find this site interesting and informative. As I am a former school librarian, I am always teaching also, so this site is meant to help explain, in a small way, the world of rocks and minerals.

I have been a rockhound since my childhood in Montana, so learning more about rocks and minerals and working with them has been a dream of mine for a long time. When I "retired" from my library job, my husband and I moved to the Olympic Peninsula from our home near Seattle. I promptly joined the Clallam County Gem and Mineral Society and signed up for lapidary classes.
